We choose respect - Anti-Bullying Week at Slindon College.
With our excellent pastoral care, every day is Anti-Bullying Day at Slindon College. On Odd Socks Day in November, schools, workplaces, and individuals join together to celebrate difference and stand up against bullying and discrimination.
We also thought about and celebrated the things we are thankful for. KS3 and KS4 noted down and reflected on things that are special to them. Our Prep team spent time in a special lesson on respect and thinking about what respect and disrespect look like.
Pupils also took part in Odd Socks Day on Tuesday 12th November. Odd Socks Day marks the start of Anti-Bullying Week and helps to raise awareness of bullying. It is a day when schools, workplaces, and individuals join together to show that it's okay to be different and to stand up against bullying and discrimination.
