The talented Slindon College Greenpower Team took an excellent third place podium finish at Dunsfold Park in order to qualify electric car, ‘Lightning 1’ for the International Greenpower Final at Goodwood Motor Circuit on Sunday 13th October.

Slindon College's Greenpower Technician, Mr Flint said: "I am very proud of all the pupils have achieved and the teamwork they have put in. I'm looking forward to next season when we will potentially have three cars out on the track." 

Plenty of supporters came along to this local venue to cheer on the College’s Sixth Form electric car 'Lighting 1', which is maintained and raced by our pupils.

Racing against 42 cars from all over Europe, the Slindon College Team achieved an excellent 7th place. This means that out of all four Greenpower races for the 2024 season Slindon College have achieved a top ten place in every race!
