The D-Day landings of 6 June 1944 was the largest seaborne invasion in history. Along with the associated airborne operations, it marked the beginning of the liberation of France and western Europe. 

Slindon College have been learning about the 80th Anniversary of D-Day during their House Time sessions.

Lenny, our Head Boy has been taking part in a series of special re-enactment shows at Tilford Village in commemoration, where he was the flag bearer.
