Prep Teacher - FT (34 weeks/year - Term Time only)

Due to growth, we are looking to expand our Prep department teaching team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified primary trained teacher to join our dynamic and committed team. The successful candidate will work within this supportive environment to contribute to the success of our pupils. This post offers an opportunity to work with a range of young people who have barriers to learning and require higher levels of differentiation in a small class setting.

The successful candidate will deliver lessons to pupils in years 4-7 under the direction of the Head of Prep. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with pupils, parents and staff. You will have a strong commitment to the College’s mission and identity as set out in the College Aims and Values. The post may suit an ECT/ NQT.

Own transport is required as there is no public transport available.

Pay: Slindon College Qualified Teacher Salary Scale EITHER:

£29,928 - £40,199 & APTIS Pension 5% Employer Cont.

OR, £27,457 - £36,880 & APTIS Pension 15% Employer Cont.

Hours: Full Time - 34 Weeks/Year Monday-Friday 8:15am-4:30pm

Accountable To: Head of Prep

Probation Period: One Term

Contract: Permanent
